ChatGPT: AI explained simply + video examples of real estate software & image generation

For many people, ChatGPT is their first contact with artificial intelligence – and it’s often not their last. But what exactly is ChatGPT and what can you use it for? After our look at OpenAI and Sam Altman, here’s a look at the tool that has changed many people’s world, including mine. What is ChatGPT? What can you do here? Plus bonus: In my videos, you’ll find specific examples of how you can use ChatGPT for creative, technical or business purposes, with real estate and pharma examples.

What is ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is an AI-supported voice assistant developed by OpenAI. It is based on a so-called language model that has been trained on huge amounts of data. It understands questions and instructions in natural language – and can give precise, creative or even surprisingly human answers. The latest version is based on the GPT-4 model and can not only write, but also calculate, analyze, program – and even understand or create images. ChatGPT is so popular, even Google now has AI in its search results.

The chatbot that really understands

Unlike traditional search engines, ChatGPT does not simply reply with links, but formulates directly understandable texts. You can speak to the system in natural language – almost as if you were chatting to a person. ChatGPT is constantly learning and adapting to your style and intent. According to the New York Times, millions of people around the world now use ChatGPT every day.

  • AI-supported assistant from OpenAI
  • Based on GPT-4 (latest version)
  • Understands natural language & context
  • Answer directly, not just with links

What can you do with ChatGPT?

The possibilities are enormous. Many people first think of text generation – blog articles, emails, social media posts or translations. But ChatGPT can do much more: you can write small programs, generate Excel formulas, analyze or structure content. According to MIT Technology Review, many people now use ChatGPT specifically to increase productivity.

Texts, software, images – and more

With the latest tools, you can also have images created – e.g. with DALL-E, directly from ChatGPT. I’ll show you how this works in another video. Writing code, editing data or planning projects is also possible with ChatGPT. It’s not just a tool for creatives, but also for developers, entrepreneurs or teachers. TechCrunch recently reported on the integration of DALL-E directly into ChatGPT Pro.

  • Generate & revise texts
  • Have small software tools programmed
  • Create images using AI (e.g. DALL-E)
  • Code, tables, analyses & more
