What does CR mean? CR stands for conversion rate and describes the percentage of users who perform a desired action (conversion) after a click or visit. Where is the CR used? The conversion rate is used in almost all online marketing areas, e.g. in online stores, landing pages or newsletter campaigns, to measure the efficiency of measures. What is a good CR? A good conversion rate depends heavily on the industry, target group and offer. In e-commerce, it is often between 2 % and 5 %, but can also be significantly higher with highly optimized funnels.

Example CR
To calculate the conversion rate, divide the number of conversions achieved by the total number of visitors and multiply the result by 100 to obtain the percentage value.
How to calculate the CR
This is how you can calculate the conversion rate (CR):
- Visitors: 10,000
- Conversions: 300
- Formula: CR = (Conversions / Visitors) × 100
- Calculation: (300 / 10,000) × 100 = 3 %
- Result: The conversion rate is 3 %
