Viral Reach through Creative Content – Initial Situation
With digital ink to limitless creativity: Wacom is the global market leader for digital pen and input devices and offers tools for the efficient and reliable digitization of document workflows in diverse industries.
In order to optimally reach its own target group, the tablet manufacturer is continuously testing new sales channels. Wacom was supported with performance ads and creative content for Instagram and TikTok.
Don’t make Ads. Make Tiktoks
Effective ads through user-generated content!
To increase online sales, TikTok in-feed ads targeting “traffic to website” were produced and served.
A split test was conducted with three different creatives. The result: TikTok ads with a user-generated look achieved more than twice as many clicks as classically produced commercials.
Organic reach through reels
Reach booster: Instagram feed vs. reels. Instagram reels increase the organic reach of posted content enormously compared to classic feed posts.
What has been achieved?
> 340,000 TikTok impressions generated per video
0.06 € Cost per click (CPC) achieved
> 750,000 views reached with just five videos on Instagram Reels
