Xing, Germany’s Professional Network

Xing is the German equivalent of the U.S. networking site LinkedIn. Companies and entrepreneurs use Xing particularly extensively. Through Xing, users can maintain business contacts and participate in events, but they can also post messages just like on other social networks.Xing is also a useful tool for networkers to find contacts. For end consumers, however, Xing is of little value, as it is difficult to spread information there—the platform is used almost exclusively by professionals.
