<h2>Comment Generate and embed comment code</h2>
<p>In the next step you generate your own code. It is important that you get it into your header.php. This usually works in two ways with WordPress.</p>
<ol>
<li>The best way is to include the code in your theme backend. Most themes support embedding directly from the backend. Then you don&#8217;t have to make any changes to the theme. You place the code where, for example, the code from Google Analytics is located.</li>
<li>Directly in the theme via your WordPress backend via Design &gt; Editor. Then open the header.php and insert the code cleanly, best directly after the  tag.</li>
<li>Recommendation! Better go over your Child Theme and change a copy of the header.php, then you will have no problems with the theme update.</li>

<h2>Exchange WordPress and Facebook comment function</h2>
<p>Besides the script you will also get a small div box for embedding in the front end of the page. The procedure here is similar to the script. Only that you edit the single.php. If you are working with a theme, the code may also have to be placed in comments.php or similar. Like in my example. You can include the code everywhere in your page or only on single pages. We replace the comment function directly. If you want the comments on single pages, just insert the code directly into the blog posts, etc. This is how you change the comment function globally.</p>
<p>Importantnt, you have to replace your URL (in my case http://lukinski.com) for the global variant with :</p>

<ol>
<li>Directly in the theme via your WordPress backend via Design &gt; Editor. Now open the single.php and replace the WordPress code or exclude it.</li>
<li>Recommendation! Do the same with your Child Theme and change a copy of the single.php.</li>

<p>In my example the comment code was not in the single.php but in a single comments.php. I copied this into my child theme and replaced the whole comment code with the new Facebook comments. If you work in the single.php, make sure to remove only the comment code. In the example the whole comments.php was replaced.</p>

As a consultant in advertising agencies I often see desperate attempts to work fast in Photoshop. For a few icons you can easily lose a whole day of your employee. But screen designs in the basics can be so simple. In my new Photoshop video tutorial I show you in a simple way how you can quickly create screen designs, for example for presentations. If you understand the basics, you can then quickly work your way into more complex Photoshop layers and create mock-ups with hundreds of layers. But first of all it&#8217;s all about the basics! <p>Photoshop, create new project. Photoshop will give you directly the right dimensions, mostly HD 1920&#215;1080. Depending on the screen of course differently. If you want to create pages and articles in the content management system WordPress, you need the integrated WP editor. The WP editor is in short a WYSIWYG editor, in long words a &#8220;what you see is what you get&#8221; editor. That means, similar to the well-known office software Word from Microsoft, you always see changes live. Make a word bold bold is bold. Underline a word it is underlined. This is exactly how the WordPress editor works, what you do is what you see. For smaller online projects, websites and blogs this feature is perfectly sufficient. However, with the increasing popularity of WordPress, larger and larger pages have been implemented with the system. But many web designers and media managers didn&#8217;t want to settle for simple text fields and embellish the individual page layouts. With individual icons, custom backgrounds, sliders, large images and much more.</p>
<h2>Classical WordPress Editor or nevertheless Composer?</h2>
<p>For a professional this is no problem at all, he writes a few lines of code with HTML and CSS and it&#8217;s done. But the principle of a content management system is to manage large amounts of data and ideally to make them easily accessible, editable and deletable for users. Therefore, it is recommended to have a nice user-friendly interface that is easy to work with even without a lot of technical knowledge.</p>
<h3>Principle, design with shortcodes</h3>
<p>In order to style pages relatively simply, the idea of using shortcodes was born. These shortcodes combine more complicated code into simple tags that can be used by the user. A simple example would be to pack a nice headline into a shortcode:</p>

<p>&#8230; the element is then given a special color, a special position, perhaps a different font, font strength and much more. Before we start typing complicated HTML and CSS properties, it would be wise to just use the term headline. And that&#8217;s exactly how the principle of shortcodes works: You pack more complicated, long codes into simple little snippets. The problem with this principle is that you need a lot of visual imagination, because the user sees code, not a nicely formatted headline. And now imagine that we only increase the complexity a little bit and include tables, with exactly the same distances between them, which are then also colored in the background, individually, once blue, once yellow, once orange. This is where shortcodes reach their limits, at least for the non-technician.</p>
<h2>New: Composing in the WordPress Editor</h2>
<p>In order that content can be easily placed and is also directly visually visible, in its approximate position, in its approximate form, there have been various alternatives to the standard WP editor for some time now: Composer. You can usually download these, install them in your WordPress system and off you go. All important downloads can be found here and again at the end of the article.</p>
<p>The first step is to install the Composer of your choice like a normal plugin in your WordPress Dashboard. In a further step you activate the plugin as usual. What has changed now? Pages and articles. Let&#8217;s take a look at your WordPress Dashboard first. Here you will find all important points for you once again in an overview, from blog posts to media to comments and extensions. Pages and posts are relevant for our task today. Pages and posts differ in principle only in that you categorize and chronologically arrange posts like in a classic blog. Pages are all static pages like your terms and conditions, contact pages or &#8220;About us&#8221; but also the start page and so on.</p>
<h3>The most important WP dashboard elements for your website:</h3>

<h3>Enable WP Composer</h3>
<p>In the following example we use the layout editor in WordPress Themes Enfold (found here). No matter if you use the Layout Editor or the Visual Composer of the WP Bakery, you will find a blue button in every single page or post, which leads you to the Composer or switches the mode from the WP Editor to the Composer.</p>

<h3>Many advantages, much flexibility</h3>
<p>Let&#8217;s first take a look at the countless advantages that the Composer brings to you. On the one hand we have the responsive compilation of content for computers and for mobile devices. The Composer allows you to view columns and rows as individual elements and to adapt them to the size of your screen, i.e. desktop, tablet or smartphone. Furthermore, you have a visual interface, you do not need HTML, CSS or shortcodes to create strong elements like video backgrounds. All elements within the pages or posts can be moved easily and intuitively via drag and drop. The structure of the individual elements is defined and always the same, this gives your website a uniform look and gives the user orientation and therefore less disturbance during the visit.</p>

<p>Let us now look at picture 4. There you will find the conclusion of the small introduction to working with visual editors in WordPress. This is also the last step in my workshops, because working with a composer is very intuitive and can be learned best by trying. It doesn&#8217;t take much time either, because the elements are usually limited to twenty. With an independent training the use of the composer is easier and faster understandable. The results will quickly be very good, because the application is really easy with a little guidance and imagination:</p>

<h2>My tip: Keep it simple</h2>
<p>Look at the structure in figure 4, often none of the special headings need to be, a text field is sufficient. Set a section or work with a column, place a text element here and see what happens. Via the preview (top right on your editing page), you can see the result in a new browser tab. Now go a small step further and place a line our first text field. Make a headline out of the text field and at the very end position a new text field. Done. You can simply copy these fields in a composer and create three or four or five paragraphs. This way you can quickly create a layout and even new employees can quickly learn and show them how effective content management works</p>

When I received the SQL file for the WordPress system from the customer, I found out that I had no access to the system. And my customer is on vacation. So I wanted to log in, but I couldn&#8217;t. So this morning I had to create an account for the WordPress system via SQL.</p>
<h2>How to reset your WordPress password?</h2>
<p>Sometimes you forget your WordPress administration password or need a new one for a customer project. In my case it was the latter. This little tutorial will show you how to change WordPress users and passwords easily. Since I hear about this problem frequently &#8211; through searches, friends and customers &#8211; I wanted to write a quick post about how you can change your WordPress password in a few seconds, create new users or update your current user account. This little feature even encrypts your password automatically in MD5.</p>
<p>So with just a few clicks and a few inputs you can create or update a new user account within seconds. Let&#8217;s get started:</p>
<h3>Step 1: Change password via SQL database</h3>
<p>All you need is the free PhpMyAdmin SQL database tool. Most providers like one.com or 1und1.de have already integrated the tool into their customer account. If you are working on your notebook (localhost), you will also find PhpMyAdmin preinstalled if you enter http://localhost in your browser. So you can access your database directly. Via SQL command you can easily change the data set.</p>

<p>Now click on the tab &#8220;SQL&#8221; in the upper menu. In the tab &#8220;SQL&#8221; you can enter commands directly. Therefore click on the menu SQL tab. Now enter the following command in the new window:</p>
<pre>update wp_users set user_pass=MD5('newpassword123') where user_login='admin'</pre>
<p>Now change two variables, first enter your password where it says &#8220;newpassword123&#8221;, then add the name of the user where it says &#8220;admin&#8221;. Confirm the entry by clicking on the &#8220;Go&#8221; button. In a fraction of a second you should receive a message that the table row has been updated. That&#8217;s it &#8211; you have changed your password, MD5 encrypted and can now log in directly to your system www.url.de/wp-admin.</p>

The most popular search engine optimization software for online operators for detailed query of impressions, clicks and rankings has changed its look. The design has become more modern, with compatibility for mobile web viewing. We wanted to take a direct look at the most important changes and give an overview for beginners and novices to the new design in Google Search Console. Today on Sunday we take a look at the new user interface but also at the most important settings for Internet site operators and online shop owners. If you want to advance your own search engine optimization, you have to deal daily with your own rankings, that means positioning in the search engine, but also with various topics such as content marketing, page structure and also with backlinks and internal links. We look at all the details today, so that you have directly a comprehensive overview of the current possibilities that arise with Google Search Console. At the end of the article I&#8217;ll give you some helpful links and videos so you can improve your own search engine optimization.</p>
<p>After the new interface, I of course have a few tips for you, among others on the international orientation of the Search Console.</p>
<h2>What is Google Webmaster Tools or new Search Console?</h2>
<p>Anyone who runs a website or an online shop and wants to bring it forward in the search engine, through better search engine positioning, which must analyze its own page or the online shop and optimize. How you stand in the search engine, that is, at Google – Google itself shows you in the in-house software Google Search Console.</p>
<h3>Impressions in the search engine</h3>
<p>Here you can see, for example, how many impressions your page has reached. Impressions, that is the number of views within search results. So if we search for &#8220;Immobilienmakler Berlin&#8221; and our page is on position 8, the user must first scroll down to this position, so that we get an impression.</p>
<h3>Clicks in the search engine</h3>
<p>More important are the clicks. Every click that is made after an impression is registered and stored by Google. In the Google Search Console I can then view all the results and the resulting performance.</p>
<p>From this I can draw conclusions about which pages I invest my time in. Because of course a big project has hundreds or thousands or even tens of thousands of subpages. But often only &#8220;a few&#8221; are important, and you have to put all your energy into them. One of the things that helps here is an ABC analysis. Which page brings us the most impressions and which offers the most potential, e.g. because it is just before page 1 or just before position 1 in the search results.</p>

<p>Chic, modern and less cluttered! White has become a subtle, dark grey. The new design of Google&#8217;s user interface has adapted to the new important features, mobile first! While the Webmaster Tools were previously only flawlessly accessible from the desktop, the new Search Console is also cleanly and beautifuly accessible from mobile devices.</p>

<h3>Index Sitemap &#8211; Page structure and updating</h3>
<p>A sitemap is important for websites and online shops. In the sitemap are all pages that we &#8220;consider relevant&#8221;. Every time we update a page or when we publish a new page, it appears as an update or new publication in the sitemap. This actively alerts Google, as well as other search engines (if linked), that something has changed on our site. By permanently and regularly updating our site, we can improve our search engine positioning. There are also many practical and simple solutions for the sitemap, e.g. for WordPress. Many use e.g. SEO Yoast for sitemaps.</p>

<h3>User friendliness on mobile devices</h3>
<p>Google has now changed the display in the search results to &#8220;mobile first&#8221;. As a site owner, you should therefore always remember to think about the mobile view first. Meanwhile, the user and search behavior has changed so much that most people access information on the go. Even online shopping is done mobile today.</p>
<p>Google recognized this trend long ago and has also meanwhile informed all webmasters and page operators about it. Since September 2018, all search engine results have also been tailored to mobile pages. Therefore, much emphasis is also placed on this point in the Google Search Console. Therefore, when creating websites for your company, always remember to put the mobile view in the foreground. You only adjust the tablet and desktop version afterwards. Should you be working with your WordPress system directly in the desktop version, always try to imagine a simple mobile view. This helps with the web design!</p>

<h2>International alignment with Google Search Console</h2>
<p>If you want to align your website or online shop internationally, you should ideally use different domains or a more comprehensive analysis tool. If you are not mainly concerned with search engine optimization, the easiest way is to use different country domains. For the USA (.com), Great Britain (.co.uk), Italy (.it), Spain (.es), China (.cn) or France (.fr). The different URLs are registered individually in Google Webmaster Tools and so you have the individual languages cleanly separated in individual accounts.</p>
<p>However, if you want to make your search engine optimization even more precise, you need tools that are subject to a fee. Free online tools for search engine analysis are no longer sufficient. Therefore, you need more annoying programs with more extensive data packages to analyze and optimize your own website. Tables simply with Copy &amp; pasting brings a lot of HTML snippets with it, which you don&#8217;t want in your own content management system. Let&#8217;s take a look at the example of a simple HTML table that anyone can generate and modify.</p>
<h2>Problem: Simply copying HTML tables is unclean</h2>
<p>For employees in companies it is important, they should not copy any tables, otherwise we have, as described, a lot of &#8220;trash&#8221; in our HTML code. The HTML code is not visible in the &#8220;visual&#8221; area of the editor. To edit it you have to click on &#8220;Text&#8221; in WordPress Editor. If code is simply copied, it takes small snippets with it that we don&#8217;t want. Here is a direct example from practice:</p>
