K-Pop marketing refers to the overall set of strategies and tactics used by Korean music companies (Hybe, SM, YG, JYP) to promote artists and groups worldwide—as well as the adaptation of these methods by international brands that engage K-Pop acts as brand ambassadors or collaboration partners. K-pop marketing is characterized by an extreme focus on the target audience, parasocial relationships, fandom management, merchandise ecosystems, and a consistently curated visual identity. It is a model that views fandom as an activated market.

Core Principles of the K-Pop Marketing System

The K-pop marketing system is based on four central pillars: first, the systematic construction of artist personas optimized for specific fan target groups; second, a continuous flow of content that provides fans with new material every day, thereby retaining their attention; third, the development of multilingual and multicultural community structures that enable global reach without losing control; and fourth, strict quality control over visual identity, choreography, outfit planning, and communication. Hybe, BTS’s parent company, employs several hundred staff members in its fan interaction department alone. No detail is left to chance—from the color palette of the album cover to the wording of fan greetings.

Distinction: K-Pop Marketing vs. Traditional Music Marketing

Traditional music marketing relies on radio airplay, chart rankings, and media coverage. K-pop marketing flips this logic on its head: the fan community becomes the primary distribution channel, independently spreading, translating, and amplifying content. While a Western pop star waits for chart rankings, a K-pop act generates record-breaking numbers within hours through coordinated streaming campaigns by its fans. Added to this is the so-called “photocard system”: Album buyers receive random photocard inserts of their favorite members, which encourages fans to buy the same album multiple times to complete their sets. These marketing mechanisms are largely unknown in Western music marketing but are increasingly being adapted.

Why is K-pop marketing relevant for international brands?

Keep in mind:

K-Pop marketing creates a direct competitive advantage

Measurable impact on revenue and reach

Starting early pays off in the long run

K-pop groups like BTS, BLACKPINK, Stray Kids, and NewJeans have fanbases that are virtually unmatched in size, loyalty, and willingness to spend. These fans don’t just buy music and concert tickets—they buy everything their idols represent or recommend. Samsung, McDonald’s, Louis Vuitton, and Hyundai have recognized this and are specifically leveraging K-pop ambassadors. The key difference from traditional celebrity endorsements lies in the intensity of fan engagement: K-pop fans organize globally, coordinate buying campaigns, and make brands trend within hours.

Global Reach Through Local Fandoms

K-pop fandoms are both globally connected and locally rooted. In Germany, Brazil, Thailand, and the U.S., there are active local fan clubs that translate, disseminate, and amplify international campaigns at the local level. For brands, this means that a single K-pop partnership can make waves in dozens of markets simultaneously, without the brand manager having to address each country individually.

The Parasocial Principle

K-pop management companies are pioneers of parasocial marketing. Through daily glimpses into the artists’ lives via social media, fan meetings, webtoon series about the idols, and personalized fan mail, a sense of a genuine personal connection is created between fans and artists. Brands that are embedded in this ecosystem benefit from this emotional resonance.

Facts & Figures: The Economic Impact of K-Pop Fandoms

A 2023 study by the Hyundai Research Corporation shows that BTS fans spend an average of 1,400 USD annually on everything related to their favorite artists—including music, merchandise, concerts, and branded products. According to Spotify and Twitter analytics, the BTS ARMY, the official fanbase, has over 50 million active members worldwide. BLACKPINK holds the YouTube record for the most-subscribed music group channel, with over 90 million subscribers. These figures translate directly into brand value: According to an analysis by the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics, every major K-pop group has a measurable positive effect on the export figures for Korean consumer goods in their core markets. For international brands, this means that reaching K-pop fandoms is not niche marketing, but rather mainstream reach with an extraordinary concentration of purchasing power.

K-Pop Marketing Strategies for Brands

Here’s how it works:

Clearly Define Your Goals Before You Start

Integrate K-Pop marketing strategically into the marketing mix

Test, measure, and continuously optimize

There are various ways for international brands to benefit from K-pop marketing. The most direct way is to collaborate with K-pop artists as brand ambassadors or on limited-edition collections. McDonald’s 2021 BTS Meal is the best-known example—a simply renamed menu that became a global viral sensation and caused supply shortages in many markets. Another strategy is to engage K-pop fandoms as an organic platform for spreading the word: Brands that sponsor K-pop events or support fan meetings become part of the fandom experience. In the realm of content, K-Pop aesthetics and production values provide inspiration for high-quality visual branding campaigns, even without a direct partnership with an artist. The Korean beauty sector (K-Beauty) has already fully embraced this visual language.

Activate Fandoms as Organic Distribution Platforms

Sponsoring K-Pop events and fan meetings

Adopting K-Pop aesthetics for visual branding

The K-Beauty Sector Successfully Adapts This Strategy

Key Insight: BTS generated a combined total of over 3 billion USD in brand value for Samsung, McDonald’s, and Hyundai—K-pop partnerships are not just cultural additions, but measurable drivers of growth.

Step-by-Step: How to Launch a K-Pop Brand Campaign

Building a successful K-pop brand campaign follows a clear process. The first step is target audience analysis: Which K-pop acts appeal to your core target audience? Fan base demographics, market presence, and alignment of values are crucial here. The second step involves establishing contact through specialized K-pop marketing agencies or directly through the management companies (Hybe, SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment), which maintain their own business departments for brand deals. The third step is campaign structuring: Is it an ambassador deal, a limited edition, a collaborative music video, or event sponsorship? The fourth step is fandom integration—the campaign must be authentically embedded in the existing fan ecosystem, e.g., through fan-exclusive content or charitable tie-ins that resonate with the fandom’s values. The fifth step is multi-platform distribution across YouTube, TikTok, Weverse, and Instagram simultaneously.

Target Audience Analysis: Selecting K-Pop Acts

Establish contact through specialized agencies

Define and structure the campaign type

Implement authentic fandom integration

Implement a multi-platform strategy simultaneously

Utilize fan-exclusive content and charity tie-ins

Practical Tips: Avoiding Common Mistakes in K-Pop Collaborations

The most common mistake is insincere engagement: Brands that simply hire K-pop idols as advertising faces without understanding or involving the fandom are punished by the community. K-pop fans immediately recognize opportunistic marketing and respond with calls for boycotts. Another classic mistake is neglecting local markets: Since fandoms are organized regionally, campaigns must be localized—a generic global post isn’t enough. Brands should also prepare contingency plans for artist scandals: K-pop acts are under enormous public pressure, and personal controversies involving individual members can derail campaigns within hours. Clear contractual exit clauses and communication protocols are therefore essential. Finally: Never underestimate the quality of merchandise—K-pop fans are seasoned collectors and can spot inferior production materials immediately.

Authentic engagement instead of superficial influencer marketing

Fandoms instantly recognize opportunistic campaigns

Localization is required; generic posts are ineffective

Contingency plans for artist scandals are necessary

Contractual exit clauses and communication protocols

The quality of merchandise should not be underestimated

Examples of Successful K-Pop Marketing

The most important thing:

Leading brands prioritize consistency

The courage to be different pays off

Define measurable KPIs from the very beginning

The 2021 McDonald’s BTS Meal is the most-talked-about K-pop brand campaign in history: a limited-edition menu in 50 countries, fan-focused packaging, viral hype around the BTS sauce—and record sales in markets where McDonald’s had been stagnating for years. Louis Vuitton named BTS global House Ambassadors in 2021—its stock price and sales figures rose measurably. BLACKPINK, both collectively and individually, are ambassadors for Samsung, Pepsi, Adidas, Chanel, and Dior—bridging the gap between high fashion and the mass market. In the German market, Samsung GmbH specifically leveraged BTS collaborations for the Galaxy launch, with significant impacts on social media reach and sales. NewJeans and Coca-Cola launched a global campaign in 2023 that set viral benchmarks in Asia.

Case Study: BTS × McDonald’s – The Anatomy of a Viral Campaign

The BTS Meal in May 2021 is a prime example of how K-pop marketing works. McDonald’s barely changed the menu itself—it simply renamed an existing Chicken McNuggets meal and paired it with special sauces (Sweet Chili and Cajun, inspired by McDonald’s South Korea) and BTS-branded packaging. The real value was created by the ARMY: Fans immediately began collecting the packaging, selling it on eBay, and showcasing it on TikTok. Within a week, over 2 billion impressions were generated on social media—organically, without a media budget. McDonald’s Korea reported a 25% increase in sales during the campaign period. The lesson for brands: In K-pop campaigns, the fandom is the actual media channel. The brand’s investment provides the spark; the explosion comes from the fandom itself.

Case Study: BLACKPINK as Multi-Brand Ambassadors in the Luxury Segment

BLACKPINK member Jennie has been a Chanel brand ambassador since 2017—a partnership that has opened up markets for the luxury house that traditional Chanel marketing had barely reached: Gen Z consumers in Asia and the global K-pop fandom. Rosa’s partnership with Tiffany & Co. in 2023 led to a measurable increase of over 300% in the heritage brand’s social media engagement across Asia. Lisa, in turn, collaborates with Bvlgari, Celine, and Mac Cosmetics—and each partnership generates trending hashtags within minutes of being announced. What makes BLACKPINK particularly attractive to luxury brands is that the four members have distinct personality profiles and fan communities, enabling targeted audience engagement within the same fandom ecosystem. This allows brands to reach different segments without having to manage multiple independent artist deals.

Conclusion: K-Pop as a Key Marketing Factor

Conclusion:

K-Pop marketing is indispensable in modern marketing

Think strategically, implement consistently

K-Pop marketing teaches brands worldwide what modern community-building means: understanding fandom as a market, leveraging parasocial bonds as a strategic asset, and scaling global networks through local engagement. For international brands, collaborating with K-Pop acts provides access to one of the most loyal and affluent target audiences in the world. The key is not only choosing the right artist but also authentically integrating into the fandom ecosystem.

What makes K-pop marketing so successful?

K-Pop marketing combines parasocial bonds, an excessive volume of content, global community networking, and perfectly orchestrated fandom management. Fans are not just consumers, but active brand ambassadors who spread campaigns virally and carry out coordinated purchasing campaigns.

How can smaller brands benefit from K-pop marketing?

Even without a million-dollar budget for major K-pop ambassadors, brands can learn from K-pop aesthetics, community marketing principles, and fan engagement. Collaborations with up-and-coming K-pop artists or engaging local fan clubs are often cost-effective entry points.

Which platforms are most important for K-pop marketing?

YouTube for music videos and reactions, TikTok for challenges and short clips, Twitter/X for fan discussions and trending topics, Weverse as a dedicated fan platform, and Instagram for visual campaigns. Combining all these channels is crucial for maximizing fan engagement.

How do I find the right K-pop artist for my brand?

The selection should be based on alignment between brand values and the artist’s personality, the demographics of the fanbase (age, background, purchasing power), and global versus regional reach. Agencies such as specialized K-pop marketing firms assist with matchmaking analysis.

K-Pop marketing leverages fandom as a strategic asset

Fans are active brand ambassadors and influencers

Authentic integration into the fandom ecosystem is essential

YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and Weverse are key platforms

Even small budgets can benefit from K-pop principles

Artist selection based on brand values and fanbase demographics

What Is Pop Culture Marketing? Definition and Scope

Here’s what it’s all about:

Pop Culture in Marketing: Explained Briefly and Clearly

Distinction from Related Concepts

The foundation of every marketing strategy

Pop culture marketing refers to the strategic use of elements of popular culture—trends, memes, music, TV shows, movies, internet phenomena, and social debates—in brand communication. The goal is to position the brand as a relevant part of the cultural discourse and thereby generate attention, goodwill, and the desire to share. Pop culture marketing differs from traditional influencer marketing in its focus on cultural trends rather than individual authority, and from content marketing in its reactive, time-sensitive nature. Success depends largely on timing: a meme is often relevant for only a few hours before it seems outdated.

Core Principles of Pop Culture Marketing

Three basic principles define successful pop culture marketing: speed, relevance, and authenticity. Speed means that a brand must respond to a viral moment within hours—not days. Relevance requires that the cultural element actually align with the brand and its target audience, not just happen to be popular at the moment. Authenticity, finally, means that the brand brings a genuine attitude to the table—users immediately recognize contrived trend-hopping. Studies by Sprout Social show that 64% of consumers want brands to display a clear personality on social media; pop culture moments are a particularly effective channel for demonstrating exactly that.

Distinctions: Meme Marketing, Trend Marketing, and Cultural Collaboration

Within pop culture marketing, three subcategories can be distinguished. Meme marketing is the fastest and riskiest form: A brand takes a current internet meme and adapts it for its own purposes—often with a half-life of less than 48 hours. Trend marketing is broader in scope and includes participation in viral challenges, hashtag campaigns, or platform-specific formats such as TikTok sounds. Cultural collaborations, on the other hand, are designed for the long term: the partnership between Adidas and Beyoncé, the Nike x Netflix Stranger Things crossover, or the Supreme x Louis Vuitton collection strategically connect brand worlds over months or years. All three forms have their place—but they come with very different requirements in terms of planning, budget, and risk tolerance.

Pop culture in marketing creates a direct competitive advantage

Measurable impact on revenue and reach

This increases likability, authenticity, and the willingness to share brand content. In a world where users actively block and skip ads, integrating into pop culture conversations is one of the few ways to organically appear in users’ feeds.

Facts & Figures: The Measurable Impact of Pop Culture Relevance

The numbers speak for themselves: According to a 2023 Morning Consult study, 37% of Gen Z consumers are more likely to buy from a brand that appears relevant to pop culture. Content that capitalizes on a viral moment achieves, on average, 3.5 times more organic reach on TikTok than regular brand posts. The “Oreo Dunk in the Dark” tweet from the 2013 Super Bowl generated over 10,000 retweets and earned media value in the millions within 24 hours—without any paid distribution. For brands, this means that pop culture marketing has a demonstrably disproportionately high ROI compared to traditional paid formats, provided the timing and relevance are right.

Cultural Relevance as a Distinguishing Feature

In saturated markets, products often differ very little from one another. Relevance to pop culture becomes a distinguishing feature: the brand that captures the spirit of the times is the one that sticks in people’s minds. On TikTok, Duolingo has demonstrated—with its chaotic, meme-friendly mascot strategy—how a language-learning app can become a pop culture reference—without running traditional ads.

Community Building Through Cultural Participation

Pop culture marketing creates a sense of belonging. People who get the same meme are part of the same group. Brands that capitalize on pop culture moments demonstrate cultural understanding and, in doing so, build emotional connections with target audiences that traditional advertising can no longer reach—especially Millennials and Gen Z. Here’s a concrete example: When Ryanair started using TikTok to poke fun at its own poor service in an ironic way, its follower count skyrocketed from under 100,000 to over 2 million—because the brand spoke the cultural language of its target audience, not that of its PR department.

Strategies for Successful Pop Culture Marketing

Here’s how it works:

Clearly define your goals before you start

Integrate pop culture into the marketing mix in a targeted way

Test, measure, and continuously optimize

The most important prerequisite is excellent cultural listening: Brands must understand what is currently capturing their target audience’s attention—on which platforms, in which formats, and with what tone. Social media monitoring tools, specialized cultural intelligence platforms such as ZEFR or Meltwater, and in-depth platform expertise are essential. Timing is crucial: reactive pop culture marketing must happen within hours, not days. To achieve this, brands need streamlined approval processes and teams with sufficient creative discretion. The risk is real: Misguided pop culture references can be perceived as cultural appropriation, opportunism, or simply as being uninformed. Authenticity—that is, an organic connection to the brand’s own <hiddenlink href="https://socialmediaone.de/markenidentitaet-definition-aufbau-beispiele-markenpersoenlichkeit/" data-type="post" data-origin="de" data-origin-url="/?p=112873">identity</hiddenlink> —is not optional.

Step-by-Step: How to Develop a Pop Culture Marketing Strategy

Developing a sustainable pop culture strategy follows a clear process. First: Cultural Audit — Which pop culture spaces are relevant to your target audience? Which platforms, subcultures, and creators dominate these spaces? Second: Brand Fit Assessment — For which cultural moments does the brand have a credible connection, and where would involvement feel forced? Third: Build a rapid-response infrastructure — Streamline internal approval processes, appoint a dedicated creative team, and define escalation paths. Fourth: Test pilot campaigns — Use a small budget to test initial reactions to cultural moments and learn from the results. Fifth: Scale what works — Systematically expand proven formats and tones.

Practical Tips: What Works, What Doesn’t

Concrete guidelines can be derived from the practices of successful brands. What works: self-deprecating humor (brands that laugh at themselves come across as human), platform-native formats (TikTok sounds instead of highly produced TV commercials), a clear stance (brands that clearly state what they stand for), and celebrating their own community instead of catering to an anonymous mass audience. What doesn’t work: jumping on trends that have nothing to do with the brand’s theme; reacting too late (a meme that went viral three days ago is embarrassing today); ignoring cultural sensitivities; and abandoning your own voice to appear “more youthful.” Particularly dangerous: so-called “trend hijacking,” in which a brand exploits a cultural moment for advertising messages that have no genuine connection to that moment.

Self-deprecating humor makes brands human and authentic

Use platform-native formats instead of highly produced TV content

Take a clear stance: The brand must take a position

Celebrate the community instead of catering to an anonymous mass audience

Avoid irrelevant trends and delayed reactions

Respect cultural sensitivities and maintain authenticity

Trend hijacking exploits moments without a genuine connection

Common Mistakes in Pop Culture Marketing

The most common mistake is a lack of speed due to internal bureaucracy: By the time a campaign has gone through three levels of approval, the moment has passed. The second most common mistake is a lack of authenticity—a financial brand that suddenly starts using meme language doesn’t come across as hip, but rather as out of place. Third: misreading cultural codes. When Pepsi launched the “Kendall Jenner” campaign in 2017 and aesthetically co-opted a civil rights movement, the backlash was massive and caused lasting damage. A structured cultural sensitivity review before any pop culture content is therefore not just a “nice-to-have,” but a must.

Key Insight: Pop culture marketing only works in the long term if the brand actually embodies a cultural ethos—jumping on the latest meme trends without a deeper connection to the brand’s identity is immediately seen through by target audiences as mere posturing.

Examples of Successful Pop Culture Marketing Campaigns

The most important thing:

Leading brands prioritize consistency

The courage to be different pays off

Define measurable KPIs from the very beginning

Oreo’s legendary tweet during the 2013 Super Bowl blackout—“You can still dunk in the dark”—became a marketing milestone in a matter of minutes and set the standard for real-time marketing. Netflix leverages pop culture with unmatched sophistication: The Stranger Things universe has become a magnet for licensing and collaborations, integrating brands from Nike to Eggo into the cultural moment. Wendy’s has established itself on Twitter/X as a pop-culture brand reference—through bold humor, meme literacy, and subverting expectations of fast-food communication. In German-speaking countries, REWE demonstrated with its Christmas campaign “Danke, Papa” how a deep understanding of culture (family, nostalgia, social change) can be translated into emotional resonance.

International Case Study: Duolingo and the Power of Self-Deprecation

Duolingo is perhaps the most instructive example in recent years of consistent pop culture marketing. On TikTok, the brand built a persona around its mascot, Duo, that is intentionally chaotic, over-the-top, and meme-savvy. Duo “threatens” users who miss their study sessions, comments on pop culture events in real time, and responds to other brands with quick, spot-on irony. The result: over 13 million TikTok followers, a dramatic increase in app downloads among Gen Z users, and brand awareness that extends far beyond the actual product. The key factor: The tone is consistent and follows a clear internal logic—Duo as a chaotic yet endearing force for consistency.

German-Language Case Study: REWE, Hornbach, and Emotional Pop Culture

In German-speaking countries, successful pop culture marketing often follows a different pattern than in the Anglo-American world: less focus on meme-driven trends, more on emotional and social depth. REWE’s “Danke, Papa” campaign (2015) tapped into the cultural moment of shifting perceptions of masculinity and created an emotional short film that was shared millions of times—far beyond its own target audience. With its consistently provocative, almost artistic advertising approach, Hornbach has developed its own pop-cultural aesthetic that is referenced and discussed by the industry and the public alike. Both examples show that pop culture marketing doesn’t always have to be reactive and fast-paced—it can also generate its own cultural movement.

“Brands are not just products; they are cultural phenomena. The brands that succeed are those that understand the culture in which their customers live.” — Douglas Holt, pioneer of cultural branding

Conclusion: Pop culture as an integral part of brand strategy

Conclusion:

Pop culture is indispensable in modern marketing

Think strategically, implement consistently

Pop culture marketing isn’t just a tactical gimmick—it’s a strategic imperative for brands that want to thrive in the attention economy. The prerequisites are: a deep understanding of culture, streamlined processes for quick responses, a clear brand identity as an anchor, and the willingness to fail sometimes. Brands that authentically leverage pop culture aren’t just noticed—they become part of the culture itself. That is the strongest brand equity one can build.

What is the difference between pop culture marketing and influencer marketing?

Influencer marketing relies on an individual’s authority and their community, while pop culture marketing relies on cultural movements, trends, and social phenomena. The two can complement each other, but they are fundamentally different in their approach and mechanisms.

How can a brand respond quickly enough to current trends?

Through streamlined internal approval processes, dedicated social media teams with creative autonomy, cultural listening tools, and predefined escalation pathways for time-sensitive decisions. Some brands have established “rapid response” teams specifically for real-time marketing.

What are the risks of pop culture marketing?

The biggest risks are cultural appropriation, misguided irony, misunderstandings of cultural codes, and coming across as an opportunistic free-rider. A deep connection to your own brand identity and effective cultural listening minimize these risks.

For which brands is pop culture marketing particularly well-suited?

It is particularly well-suited for brands targeting younger audiences (Gen Z, Millennials), brands in culturally relevant categories (entertainment, fashion, food, tech), and brands with a clearly defined stance. More conservative industries (pharmaceuticals, finance) need to proceed with greater caution.

How do you measure the success of pop culture marketing?

Through short-term metrics such as shares, comments, earned media, and social mentions, as well as long-term effects such as brand sentiment, cultural relevance scores, and brand awareness among the target audience. “Share of Culture” is a metric that is increasingly being used.

Pop Culture Marketing: A Strategic Imperative for the Attention Economy

Cultural understanding, fast processes, and a clear identity are required

Pop culture marketing—as opposed to influencer marketing—focuses on trends rather than individuals

Rapid-response teams enable quick reactions to trends

Risks: cultural appropriation; minimize misunderstandings of irony

Particularly Suited for Gen Z, Fashion, Tech, and Entertainment

Success is measurable through shares, sentiment, and cultural relevance

Why coordinate three different agencies when just one can guarantee overall success? Today, a trade fair presence is much more than just a physical stand in a hall. It’s about construction, strategic marketing and captivating storytelling – before, during and after the event. As a holistic marketing and trade fair agency, we combine traditional trade fair construction with modern performance marketing to ensure that your investment is not only seen, but also generates measurable leads and sales.

Trade fair marketing: more than just collecting business cards

The success of a trade fair is often decided months before the first day. Many companies rely on the organic flow of visitors to the exhibition hall – not us. We use targeted Google Ads targeting and social media campaigns to inform your target group in advance and arrange fixed appointments at your stand. This turns your trade fair stand into a highly efficient sales hub.

Digital storytelling before/during/after your trade fair stand

In a noisy exhibition hall, the winner is the one who tells the best story. We integrate professional video production for YouTube, TikTok and Instagram directly into your stand concept.

“Many trade fair appearances fizzle out, weeks of planning for a few hours. We use the full effect over weeks and months for marketing.”

Stephan M. Czaja, Social Media One

Live streams, interactive screens and exciting content ensure that the reach of your presentation does not end at the hall walls, but is scaled globally. A visit to the trade fair becomes a multimedia experience.

Strategic advance communication (social ads & newsletter)

Interactive stand concepts (AR/VR & touch screens)

Live content production on site

Lead tracking in real time

Follow-up through automated e-mail funnels

Stand construction: architecture meets marketing psychology

Perfect for brand building, even in e-commerce, an exhibition stand has to do two things: it has to stand out and it has to work. Our team combines architectural expertise with sales psychology knowledge. Where do we place the eye-catchers? How do we guide the flow of visitors? How do we create zones for discreet consultations? Every square metre is optimized so that it contributes to your e-commerce goals or your brand awareness.

Sustainability and modularity

Modern trade fair concepts must be flexible. We develop modular systems that work both at a large leading trade fair and at smaller specialist conferences. This saves costs in the long term and conserves resources. In combination with a strong event sponsoring package, your stand becomes the central focal point of the entire event.

Influencers & VIPs at your trade fair stand

Nothing attracts more visitors than famous faces. Thanks to our deep network as an influencer agency, we bring the right creators directly to your stand. A selfie with a well-known face or an exclusive panel discussion on site ensures immediate attention on social media and physical queues in front of your display.

Content production for maximum extension

While the trade fair is running, we produce high-quality content. Short interviews, product presentations or customer testimonials are immediately prepared for TikTok Ads and Instagram Reels. This allows you to reach decision-makers who cannot be there in person this year but are watching digitally.

Invitation of key opinion leaders

Live interviews and podcasting at the stand

Backstage insights for followers

Coordination of press interviews

And / or directly with influencers, as here in the case with Toyota:

Trade fair trends: hybrid & digital first

The trade fair of the future is hybrid. We use technologies such as webpush notifications to address trade fair visitors within a certain radius directly on their smartphone (geo-fencing). In this way, we actively direct traffic to your location. Anyone still relying on the “hope” principle today will lose out to competitors who push their presence digitally.

Lead management 2.0

The biggest problem after a trade fair? The “dead leads”. Piles of business cards that are only processed weeks later. We implement digital capture systems that immediately send a personalized follow-up email via your email marketing funnel. While the visitor is still at the trade fair, they already have your digital lookbook in their inbox.

Costs and budget planning for trade fair appearances

A trade fair appearance is an investment. We ensure full cost transparency. Instead of hidden fees, we calculate fixed costs: stand construction, logistics, personnel, technical equipment and the accompanying online marketing. Our goal is a positive ROI. We compare the costs per trade fair lead with your Facebook Ads costs in order to constantly optimize the efficiency of your marketing mix.

5 pricing factors

Stand rental and location quality in the hall

Complexity of the stand design (individual vs. system)

Technology package (LED walls, sound, IT)

Accompanying marketing budget (pre- & post-fair)

Personnel and catering costs

It always starts with the concept:

Cross-media: From the trade fair to the online store

Trade fairs are branding, but in the end it’s sales that count. We use physical contact to draw users into your digital world in the long term. With exclusive trade fair discount codes that can only be scanned on site, we track exactly which trade fair visitors will later make purchases in your store. This is the perfect combination of the analog world and modern TikTok consulting for e-commerce success.

Our trade fair agency: Your advantage & contact

Why Social Media One as a trade fair partner? We are not just a trade fair construction company and not just an online agency – we are both. Thanks to our numerous cases in the field of brand building and millions in sales with private labels, we know how to inspire people and persuade them to buy. One agency for everything saves you time, minimizes frictional losses in communication and ensures an absolutely consistent brand image. We are “cutting edge” because we bring the latest trends from social media directly into the exhibition hall.

Three platform algorithm updates in 12 months, TikTok Shop live in Germany, and AI-generated content that outperforms organic creator reach – social media in 2026 is changing faster than in the last five years combined. Which trends are actually relevant for companies – and which are just hype.

Creator Economy becomes the standard strategy

Creator collaborations are no longer a niche topic for beauty brands. In 2026, companies from retail, FMCG, B2B, tourism and logistics will integrate creator content into their regular marketing budgets. The reason: creator content outperforms branded content in almost every performance metric. Micro-creators (10,000-100,000 followers) achieve higher engagement rates and lower cost-per-conversion than macro-influencers – because their community is more specific and engaged. Companies that do not yet have a creator channel in 2026 are building up a backlog.

Social commerce: buying without switching platforms

TikTok Shop has been live in Germany since 2024 and is growing rapidly. Instagram Shopping is established. Pinterest has expanded its checkout functions. The trend is clear: the purchase decision is made at the content consumption moment – and platforms reduce the path to purchase to a click. Companies that develop product feeds, creator commerce and live shopping events now are tapping into a sales channel that will be standard in 3-5 years.

AI tools transform content production

AI-generated text, images and video will be ready for productive use in social media marketing in 2026. What this means in concrete terms: content briefings and drafts in minutes instead of hours, automated variant tests for captions and creative, translation and localization of content for international markets, and AI-supported performance forecasts. What AI does not replace: strategy, real brand identity, and the personal perspective that brings reach on LinkedIn and TikTok. AI is the tool, not the strategist.

Short-form video dominates on all platforms

Reels on Instagram, shorts on YouTube, clips on LinkedIn – all major platforms push short video formats algorithmically. This is no coincidence: short-form video has the highest completion rate, the strongest organic reach and the lowest production costs per unit of reach. Companies that are still mainly producing static content in 2026 are fighting against the algorithm. Switching to a video-first strategy is the single most important content decision for organic reach.

Social search: LinkedIn and TikTok as search engines

40% of Gen Z use TikTok and Instagram as their primary search engine – for product recommendations, restaurant tips, travel destinations and career information. This changes the SEO logic: not only Google, but also TikTok and LinkedIn are search engines for which content must be optimized. Keywords in video titles, captions and hashtags – and above all in spoken content, which is increasingly being indexed by platform algorithms. If you ignore social search in 2026, you will lose traffic that is increasingly not coming via Google.

Community building beats follower growth

The strongest KPI in the coming years is not reach – but community depth. Brands with engaged, small communities (e.g. active Discord servers, WhatsApp channels, LinkedIn groups) achieve higher conversion rates than accounts with large, passive follower bases. Engagement-first strategy: ask questions, respond to comments, involve users directly in content, actively curate and share UGC.

Frequently asked questions

Which social media trend will be most relevant for B2B in 2026?

Thought leadership on LinkedIn combined with video content. B2B buyers are increasingly making decisions based on content they have consumed before the first sales contact. Those who regularly provide expert perspectives on LinkedIn – texts and videos – build trust before the sales process begins.

Should a company follow all trends?

No. The most important skill in social media 2026 is trend selection: Which trends suit your target group, brand and resource situation? Not every trend is relevant for every company. Better to implement two or three trends consistently rather than ten trends half-heartedly.

How do I stay up to date with social media trends as a company?

Follow weekly platform updates (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn regularly publish algorithm and feature updates). Track your own performance data – the strongest signals of what works come from your own account. And: Specialized agencies that work with platform data on a daily basis systematically share trend insights with clients.

The most important social media trends at a glance

On average, short-form videos achieve an engagement rate up to three times higher than conventional image formats – making them one of the most frequently used content formats in corporate marketing.

What companies should do now

Carry out a platform audit: Check which channels your target group is actually active on and eliminate channels that do not deliver measurable results.

Establish short-form video: Plan at least two to three short videos per week – authentic and close to everyday product or company life.

Adjust KPIs: Align your success measurement with trend-specific key figures – saves, shares and watch time are often more meaningful than pure likes.

Reserve a test budget: Keep at least ten percent of the social budget available for new formats and platforms.

Last week I reported on the US launch of Worldcoin, today I take another look at the “Orb”. It looks like something out of a science fiction movie – but the Orb from Worldcoin is a reality. The spherical iris scanner is designed to provide access to a digital world in which your identity is secure and unique. The device was developed by Tools for Humanity, with the support of <hiddenlink href="https://socialmediaone.de/sam-altman-genie-hinter-ki-breakthrough-openai-worldcoin/" data-type="post" data-origin="de" data-origin-url="/?p=91363">Sam Altman</hiddenlink>, CEO of OpenAI. But what exactly can this Orb do – and why is it so controversial? The Verge provides some initial insights into its structure and background.

What is the Worldcoin Orb?

The Orb is a high-precision biometric scanner in the shape of a silver sphere. Inside is an iris recognition system that analyzes your iris in seconds – without storing any personal image data. Instead, an encrypted hash is created that serves as a digital ID (World ID). This is to ensure that each person worldwide can only register one account. WIRED analyzed the principle and technical details at an early stage.

Design & Technology

The Orb looks futuristic, almost like a technical art object. Its smooth metal surface, the golden scanning element and the soft LED light make it visually unique. Technically, it is based on iris mapping, one of the most secure biometric processes. The challenge: to make this technology suitable for the masses, mobile and quick to use.

Silver ball with gold scanner

Biometric iris recognition

Generates encrypted digital code

Does not save any image data

This is what it looks like, the orb

Live from the Worldcoin Event in San Francisco.

Source: YouTube / The Verge

How does the iris scan work?

The process is simple: you stand in front of the Orb, look into the golden center and within a few seconds your iris is scanned. This data is used to create your World ID – anonymous, forgery-proof and globally applicable. According to the developers, the process is not only designed to be secure, but also ethically responsible. The ID generated can later be used for app logins or digital payments, for example. Worldcoin explains the process in detail here.

One-time scan for lifetime ID

Unlike other systems, you only have to be scanned once. After that, your identity is permanently registered in the network – anonymously, but uniquely. For many people without official ID or in digital shadow zones, this could be a real opportunity.

Fast scan in just a few seconds

One-time registration required

ID is anonymous & untraceable

Usable for logins, payments, access services

Where is the Orb used?

Originally, the orb was mainly used in countries such as India, Kenya and Argentina. Worldcoin has now also been launched in the USA – with over 7,000 orbs planned in specially designed “world spaces”. These stations are reminiscent of modern tech stores. In addition to the classic Orb, there is now also a mobile version: the Orb Mini. This allows scans to be carried out flexibly on the move. TechCrunch reports on the hardware rollout.

Pop-up orbs and events

Orbs are also used at trade fairs, shopping centers and influencer events for major launch events – such as the recent one in San Francisco. The aim is to break down inhibitions, create trust and generate attention. Gen Z in particular is an important target group. Fast Company analyzes the strategy behind the marketing mix.

Use in over 20 countries

7,000+ new orbs planned in the USA

Orb Mini for mobile scans

Strong presence at events & creator campaigns

Opportunities and criticism of the Orb

The Orb promises a secure, global identity system – a vision with enormous potential. At the same time, however, the device is also viewed critically: Data protectionists see risks in the collection of biometric data. Although Worldcoin emphasizes that it does not store any image data, scepticism remains. The big question: can trust, transparency and benefits be convincing? EFF is critical of the idea of a global scanning system.

Between utopia and surveillance

The Worldcoin Orb symbolizes the interface between progress and ethics. For some, it is the key to digital inclusion, for others a tool of potential control. The decisive factor will be how transparently Worldcoin deals with data, technology and public responsibility in the future.

High benefit for identity verification

Criticism of biometric recording

No image storage according to the developer

Trust & regulation crucial

Conclusion: The Orb is more than just a device

The Worldcoin Orb is a symbol, tool and topic of discussion all in one. It shows how technology can shape our everyday lives – and poses the question: how much control are we willing to give in order to gain security and access? One thing is clear: anyone talking about the digital future can no longer ignore this shiny device.

Innovative technology meets social debate

Orb is part of a global identity system

Scanning process already in use worldwide

Sam Altman, Worldcoin & Co. more on the topic

Is Worldcoin part of OpenAI?

No, Worldcoin is not part of OpenAI. It is an independent project of the company Tools for Humanity. However, there is a close personal connection: Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, is also the co-founder and chairman of Worldcoin. The two companies operate independently of each other, but share the same vision of technological innovation. Learn more here:

You know, especially on Sundays I have a news source Hard Fork (podcast). The world of VR and AR glasses is developing rapidly – but they haven’t made the breakthrough yet. With the new models from Snap and Meta, innovations are on the horizon that promise smaller, smarter devices that are more suitable for everyday use than before. While Snap is focusing on entertaining AR experiences with its Spectacles, Meta is presenting a futuristic vision with the Orion prototype, which is particularly impressive in terms of technology.

Snap & Meta present new VR glasses

In a nutshell: Meta seems to have a stable prototype. Snap, on the other hand, has a more global design, immature demos and mixed reactions.

We compare and test the two models and answer the question: Why is Zuckerberg investing billions in VR & AR?

Let’s start with the presentation of Snap’s “Spectacles”.

Snap “Spectacles” Presentation – Video

Snap is launching an updated version of its AR glasses on the market with the new Spectacles. Although they are chunkier than their predecessors, they offer exciting approaches for integrating augmented reality into everyday life. The new features, including gesture control and AR effects, are currently only aimed at developers – a step towards further exploring the potential of this technology.

Mark Zuckerberg presents “Orion” prototype – Video

Mark Zuckerberg eagerly presents the Orion prototype from Meta, which is considered a revolutionary AR headset. With holographic representations in the real world and a new type of gesture control that works via a neural interface, Meta is focusing on a high-tech experience. Although the Orion glasses are currently only a prototype, they offer an impressive glimpse into the future of augmented reality.

Snap & Meta glasses in the test

One of my favorite podcasts, Hard Fork, sums it up like this:

Snap: Very very simple model

Meta: Significantly more advanced than Snap

Great episode, part 1 right at the beginning.

But long story short, if you want a detailed review of the two models, take a look at these two videos.

Snap’s Spectacles glasses in the test

What can Spectacles do?

In contrast to Meta’s “Orion”, feelings are not only mixed in the podcast, this review also shows that the idea is good, but the implementation is not. Here are the most important findings about Spectacles:

The new Snap Spectacles receive mixed reviews in the video. The original Spectacles were praised for their simple and fun functionality, especially for recording short videos for Snapchat. The new AR glasses, on the other hand, seem clunkier and less suitable for everyday use. The further development towards augmented reality (AR) is highlighted as a positive aspect, as Snap has successfuly popularized AR filters in the past. However, the new glasses are currently only available as a developer kit and the demos were still immature. The high fee of $99 per month for developers is also viewed critically.

“The new AR glasses, on the other hand, are clunkier and less suitable for everyday use.”

5 facts about the “Spectacles” glasses

Chunkier design

Developer kit only, $99/month

Immature demos

Positive: Snap’s AR expertise

Mixed reactions

Meta’s “Orion” glasses for (still) only $10,000

What can Orion do?

Here is the whole video ultra briefly summarized for you:

It displays holograms in the real world and enables gesture control thanks to a neural interface. The glasses offer a large field of vision and virtually artifact-free displays. Particularly impressive is the integration of AI, which makes the experience even more realistic. Despite some weaknesses, such as the clunky design and short battery life, the tester emphasizes that the glasses are a glimpse into the future of augmented reality. However, they are currently only an expensive prototype.

“Overall praise for meta – though always bear in mind, from a nerd, whether the concept catches on, we’ll see.”

From VR glasses and the metaverse to new virtual and augmented reality glasses: When will Zuckerberg’s breakthrough come? Marc Zuckerberg is investing billions in virtual and augmented reality to free Meta from its dependence on Apple and co. With new devices such as the VR glasses “Quest” and the AR prototype “Orion”, Meta is targeting the future of technology. Snap also remains in the race with the new “Spectacles”.

Why is Meta investing so much in VR & AR?

Facebook once started out as a simple social network. It runs on devices from Apple, Samsung and others. However, this dependence on the hardware giants, especially Apple, bothers Meta. Marc Zuckerberg wants to get his own devices into the hands of users. This is why Meta is focusing on the development of VR and AR technologies.

What’s the next big thing after the smartphone?

Goal: What is the metaverse?

The Metaverse is a virtual, digital world that extends the internet into an interactive 3D environment. Users can interact, work, play and share social experiences in real time while using virtual avatars and digital goods. It combines virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and social networks to create an immersive experience. The aim is to create a fully connected, digital parallel world that goes beyond traditional screens.

Zuckerberg sees the future primarily in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). But what exactly do these technologies mean?

Metaverse = VR environment of Meta

A video says more than a thousand words!

VR = Virtual Reality

Virtual reality (VR) is a technology that enables users to immerse themselves in a completely digital, computer-generated world. With the help of VR headsets and controllers, users can enter this artificial environment, interact and enjoy an immersive experience. In the VR world, you can walk through digital rooms, play games or even work. Although the technology is impressive, current VR devices are still often bulky and heavy, which has so far limited their distribution in the mass market. However, the potential applications are diverse – from gaming and education to medical research.

AR = Augmented Reality

Augmented reality (AR), on the other hand, adds digital elements to the real world. AR superimposes visual information, such as images or holograms, over what the user sees in their actual environment. This can be done using special AR glasses or simply using a smartphone. Well-known applications of AR are Snapchat filters or navigation with Google Maps, where information is projected directly over the real environment. While VR immerses the user in a completely digital world, with AR you remain firmly anchored in the real world, enriched with digital information.

Meta share remains stable

As of 09/24, the price is almost $250 and a look at the 3-year chart also shows that Zuckerberg’s ideas are finding favor somewhere.

Share price: 36 months review

“Quest”: The 2kg VR monster

Zuckerberg has already taken a few steps towards the metaverse with the “Quest” VR glasses. But to be honest, who wants to put a two-kilogram device on their head permanently? Although the Quest technology offers impressive VR experiences, the clunky design remains an obstacle for the wider market. VR goggles have been around for more than 20 years, but apart from gamers and technology enthusiasts, acceptance is still low. For many users, the experience is simply not comfortable enough. Nevertheless, the Quest marks an important milestone in the development of virtual reality, even if the breakthrough is still a long way off.

Current model version 3

“Orion” VR & AR glasses, even better

With the “Orion” prototype, Meta shows that they want to take their VR and AR technology to the next level. The first prototype costs a hefty 10,000 dollars, but as with any technology, the price will fall over time. “Orion” is a lightweight and smart pair of glasses that combines both VR and AR functions. These glasses make it possible to project holograms into the real world and interact via neurally controlled interfaces. Even though they are still in the development phase, they offer a fascinating glimpse of what could be possible in the coming years.

Meta is not alone: Snap’s “Spectacles”

While Meta has its eye on the future with “Orion”, Snap is not sitting idle either. With the new “Spectacles”, Snapchat shows that it is continuing to focus firmly on AR experiences. Although the new version of the Spectacles is chunkier than previous models, it offers exciting approaches to integrating augmented reality even more into everyday life. The glasses are initially aimed at developers and should enable new applications for AR filters and digital experiences in the future. Snap has already shown in the past that they can successfuly establish AR in social media, which gives them a clear advantage in this emerging technology.

I can’t keep up with the news at all when it comes to X. Wait a minute, X? Twitter is getting a new name. Twitter is getting a new logo. Actually, Twitter is getting a whole new one. Back in 2022, Musk said in a tweet, “Buying Twitter is an accelerant to creating X, the everything app” – now it’s happening! I’ve been talking about X.COM in my talks and speeches for years. Musk sentimentally bought it back for a few million at the time – but more on that now!

X is coming: Musk’s new app

Elon Musk has been shaking up Twitter since his takeover, and now it’s the turn of the iconic blue Twitter bird logo. The billionaire announced that the familiar bird design will soon be a thing of the past. Instead, it will be replaced by a stylized black X – a letter Musk holds in particularly high regard. This announcement, of course, was made on his own short messaging service via a tweet. “Soon we will say goodbye to the Twitter logo and gradually to all birds,” Musk wrote.

When asked how soon this could happen, he replied that he could discover a good X logo as early as tonight and then it would go live worldwide tomorrow. The familiar brightness of the bird logo will also be replaced with a plain black, as Musk also confirmed when he explained his plan in a Twitter audio chat. He emphasized that this should have happened a long time ago. Apparently, Musk is determined to give Twitter a significantly changed identity with this new design.

X: The new logo

Just published on X, the new logo:

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1682978324375543808

Elon Musk tonight – live

Captured for eternity, the 2 most important tweets (are they still tweets?).

Is Twitter becoming like WeChat? My speculations

Here’s some speculation from me, since no official announcements have been made by Twitter in this direction yet.

All-in-one platform

Like WeChat, Twitter could become an all-in-one platform that goes beyond just microblogging. Similar to WeChat, which combines chatting, payments, games, social media, and more in a single app, Twitter could offer a broader range of features to keep users on its platform longer.

You know:

“Buying Twitter is an accelerant to creating X, the everything app”

twitter.com / elonmusk

Mobile payment: Shopping and Payment

WeChat has a strong influence in China as a mobile payment system, allowing users to transfer money and make payments for purchases directly through the app. Twitter could introduce a similar feature to facilitate transactions and purchases on the platform, becoming a digital payment service provider.

New identity: WeChat has also reinvented itself

Just as WeChat introduced a new name (Weixin) and logo, Twitter could also undertake a major redesign of its brand and identity under the new concept of “X” to better represent its expanded functions and vision.

Expansion of the ecosystem: third-party providers

WeChat has created a broad ecosystem by integrating third-party apps and services, offering users a variety of experiences. Twitter could enter into similar partnerships with various companies to expand its ecosystem and provide additional value to users.

User-customized content: Algorithm and AI

WeChat provides personalized content based on users’ preferences and activities. Twitter could use similar algorithms and AI-based technologies to deliver tailored content and recommendations to users to improve their user experience.

What is x.com?

X.com was a payment service provider founded by Elon Musk in 1999 in Palo Alto, California, together with Harris Fricker, Christopher Payne and Ed Ho. As early as 1993, the domain x.com was registered and was considered a valuable address in the Domain Name System at the time. Originally, Jon Postel, a late Internet pioneer, had blocked most single-letter domain names under .com from the public, but x.com was one of three exceptions already taken.

Elon Musk expressed a flair for domain names early on and acquired the appropriate domain x.com for his company. However, X.com became the well-known online payment service PayPal in March 2000, when Musk sold his company to PayPal and customers’ accounts continued under this domain name.

Despite the sale, there was a sentimental connection in Elon Musk to the domain x.com, and in 2017 he bought it back, although the exact amount of the purchase price was not confirmed. It is believed that the price was around $5 million, but Musk himself speaks only of difficult negotiations.

What does X mean to Elon Musk?

The letter X has a special meaning for Elon Musk and appears again and again in the names of his companies. Even his son’s name, X Æ A-XII, contains the letter X. X.com was one of the first companies Musk founded, and it laid the foundation for his current success. Later, X.com became the successful online payment system PayPal.

What companies has Elon Musk founded?

Elon Musk is known for founding several companies. Besides the electric car brand Tesla, these include X.com or PayPal, SpaceX, Solar City, OpenAI, Neuralink and The Boring Company. He has also bought other companies, including Twitter.

Why did Elon Musk buy Twitter?

In October 2022, Elon Musk acquired the short message service Twitter. This purchase is connected with his plan to create his own social platform. Musk wants to create a common digital exchange place where different opinions can be discussed. There is also the possibility that user-adapted advertising will be played on Twitter in the future.

Marketing, advertising, performance on X – We do it!

Several factors could cause Threads to cause problems for Twitter. Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, has struggled with bad PR in the past, while Meta has built a strong network of advertisers and made profits. Additionally, the direct Instagram login on Threads allows for a quick and convenient login for Instagram users. This integration and the potential appeal of Threads could cause some users to turn away from Twitter. All the facts on the new app and the battle of the tech giants. From our new section: <hiddenlink href="https://socialmediaone.de/agentur/threads/" data-type="page" data-origin="de" data-origin-url="/?page_id=59287">Threads Marketing</hiddenlink>.

Marc Zuckerberg vs Elon Musk

I would have preferred to call this article:

” Tech giants in the ring: Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg plan apparent death match!”

But we want to remain serious! But no fun, as can also be seen here in the Wallstreet Journal. In a surprising exchange of blows between tech billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, an apparent death match is brewing. What began as a humorous confrontation now appears to be turning into a serious one.

Twitter owner Elon Musk and Meta (formerly Facebook) CEO Mark Zuckerberg have publicly stated that they are ready to fight each other. Even the president of the UFC, Dana White, confirmed that both opponents are absolutely serious.

Battle for users and profits

But this battle goes far beyond personal egos. It symbolizes the fierce battle for users and financial gains in the tech industry. Additionally, it reflects different ideologies and the competition between social media. Elon Musk’s recent plan to take over Twitter has prompted Meta to develop “Threads,” a Twitter competitor.

The tensions between Musk and Zuckerberg show the increasing hostility and competition between major tech companies. This tech giant death match is a fascinating example of the new challenges and conflicts in the fast-moving tech industry.

Musk vs Zuckerberg in the Wall Street Journal

The topic even occupies the Wall Street Journal.

Threads that compete with Twitter: 3 reasons

The success of Threads, Meta’s messaging app, will undoubtedly have an impact on <hiddenlink href="https://socialmediaone.de/twitter-einfach-erklaert-tweets-funktionen-politik/" data-type="post" data-origin="de" data-origin-url="/?p=44370">Twitter</hiddenlink>. There are several aspects where Threads could challenge Twitter.

Already on your smartphone? App Download:

Thread App – Android

Thread App – Apple

Bad PR from Twitter and Musk – Reason 1

First, Twitter has struggled with bad PR in the past, particularly with controversial decisions by CEO Elon Musk such as firings or limiting the posts that are displayed. These events have led to a loss of trust among some Twitter users.

Meta advertisers network – reason 2

In contrast, Meta has built a strong network of advertisers and is making a profit. With Threads, Meta could appeal to those who are turning away from Twitter and looking for an alternative.

Direct Instagram login in 2 seconds – reason 3

Another aspect is the possibility of a direct login via Instagram. Threads allows users to log in with their Instagram account in just 2 seconds, with the profile picture and bio applied directly. This makes joining Threads easy and convenient for Instagram users who already have a strong presence on the platform. This seamless integration could prompt Twitter to offer a similar feature to stay competitive.

Twitter will not die!

However, it’s important to note that Twitter still has a large user base and plays a significant role in the social media landscape. It has its own strengths and a dedicated community of users who appreciate it. It will be interesting to see how Threads evolves and how Twitter responds to maintain its position and overcome potential challenges.

However, MySpace also used to exist and who still knows it today?

Twitter gets problems

Overall, Threads by Meta could cause some problems for Twitter, especially in terms of PR and user engagement. Meta already has an established advertising network and success in social media. With Instagram integration and convenient login, Threads could be an attractive alternative for some users. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen how the competition between the two platforms will develop and whether Twitter will take appropriate measures to strengthen its position and overcome the challenges.

Threads: The new app

Threads, the latest creation from Meta (formerly Facebook), has established itself as a revolutionary messaging app focused on sharing photos, videos and messages with close friends.

With a variety of features and seamless integration with Instagram, Threads allows users to share their daily lives with their best friends in an even more personal way. In this special on meta’s new app, we’ll take a closer look at Threads, its features and how it can be used for business. We’ll also take a look at what Twitter can teach for Threads marketing.
